Step up your Game
Step up your game is a series of workshops, aimed to prepare and support students on their path towards a future career. These workshops are an excellent opportunity for students who are seeking general advice and suggestions to prepare themselves for the labour market.
Workshop 1.
In workshop 1. we will focus on the written application. This workshop is at a basic level where we will go through and discuss:
- What to keep in mind when writing a CV and a personal application
- How to address what the employer is looking for in your written application.
- How to make your CV and personal letter or other application letters stand out
Workshop 2.
During workshop 2. we will look at the skills listed in your CV and practice how to sell these skills verbally. This workshop is at a basic level where we will go through and practice:
- How to introduce ourselves in a good way?
- How to catch the recruiters’ interest and what is important to tell about yourself?
- What is an “elevator pitch”?
- What should you keep in mind before, during and after an interview?
Workshop 3.
The content of workshop 3. will revolve about your digital CV - LinkedIN. This workshop is at a basic level where we will go through and discuss:
- Why should you have a Linkedin profile?
- How to build a Linkedin profile?
- How can you work with Linkedin?
The workshops will be held in English via the online tool Zoom.
