The continuation course

This course is intended to support you in your language development.

The goal of the course is to continue developing Swedish language skills, including being able to talk about one's work in Swedish and participate in work-related conversations as well as being able to express oneself in writing.

The course is conducted with one meeting per week (Wednesdays), and runs for two semesters. The meetings will be held both on campus in Sundsvall and via Zoom. The first meeting is on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025, on campus in Sundsvall.

The following dates are scheduled for on-campus meetings:

February 19
March 12 and March 26
April 9 and April 23
May 7 and May 21
June 18

Learning outcomes

Through this course, participants learn to:

Read more academic/scientific texts in Swedish
Develop the ability to write their own texts
Conduct oral presentations, including within their own subject area
Further development of vocabulary and understanding of Swedish grammar
