Erasmus+ Trainees at the International Relations Office

NB: we are currently unable to accept Erasmus+Trainees, we hope to be able to welcome trainees to us again in the near future.

At the International Relations Office at Mid Sweden University, we welcome Erasmus+ Trainees* both during the spring and autumn semester.  At the beginning of your traineeship you are allocated a supervisor, who will be your contact person throughout the traineeship. You can choose whether to be based at our campus in Sundsvall or at our campus in Östersund. You will not earn any ECTS at Mid Sweden University during your traineeship and you should have Erasmus+ Traineeship funding from your home university.  We have the capacity to welcome one trainee at the time. 

  
Deadline for application 

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and we recommend that you apply 4-5 months before you are looking to start your internship. We also recommend that you start your internship at the beginning of a semester (end of August or end of January).  

Student Profile 

The work will consist of a number of different administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, answering emails and writing texts. The work will also entail working with various communicative assignments aimed at prospective and current students at Mid Sweden University. A knowledge of social media is an advantage. In addition, the work may involve planning and arranging online and physical events for our international students.  
 
Desired competencies: 
-Organized with attention to detail 
-Basic knowledge of social media marketing or a keen user of social media 
-Used to taking own initiative and working independently 
-A good understanding of the English language (written and spoken) 
-A curiosity and willingness to learn new things and new ways of working

Selection Procedure 

Trainees are selected based on their academic background, previous experience and personal characteristics. Priority will be given to trainees who are looking to stay one or two full semesters. If you are successful in the first round, we will schedule an online interview with you. 
 

Accommodation 

The trainee is responsible for finding accommodation in either Sundsvall or Östersund. More information about the accommodation companies can be found here.

Insurance 

The trainee is insured by Mid Sweden University's incoming student insurance. Please ensure that you bring your European Helalth Insurance Card.
