Own writing
It is important that you are well prepared and have thought about what you want to work on in your thesis, so that you can make the best use of the writing days. Plan what you're going to write and have realistic expectations. The focus is supposed to be on writing, i.e. that you should not read or do literature searches.
Also, don't forget that breaks are important.
Build your professional network and make your research visible on LinkedIn
LinkedIn is a valuable platform for networking. With it as a tool, you can build long-term sustainable professional relationships and disseminate your research results to relevant people.
During this workshop, you will learn how LinkedIn works, learn how to create a good profile, formulate engaging posts and build your network!
How do I reach out with the help of an opinion piece?
A debate article is written primarily because you want to influence the reader in some direction. It takes a lot to succeed – and it all starts with having a message or a point of view on a current topic as well as facts that support the message.
In our workshop, we go through what you should keep track of in order to succeed with your debate article, how you can think about where it should be published and what measures you can take to maximize the impact.
Do you already have an idea for an opinion piece you want to write? Bring it with you to the workshop and we might use your idea as a case.
Application deadline: September 16
