From study help to future dreams
They are 45 in number and are everyday heroes in eight elementary schools in Sundsvall and Östersund. The homework helpers support high school students who need extra targeted study support and inspiration to be able to apply to upper secondary school.

The library's summer opening hours
The library is open during the summer from 9 June to 25 August. In some weeks, Miun tag is required to enter. Reserved books can be picked up by appointment and return is done via boxes at the entrance. Read more about what applies this summer!

Do you want to help develop the menstrual protection of the future?
Researchers at FSCN, Mid Sweden University, are developing a new menstrual product that’s gentle on both body and environment. They are now looking for menstruating individuals aged 20–40 to test a longer-lasting tampon with lower environmental impact.

Honorable place in the final of the Swedish Championships in Economics
Three business students form Mid Sweden University – Gabriel Borgryd, Alfred Monsell and Jacob Östlund – delivered an impressive performance, becoming only the second team from Sundsvall ever to qualify for the final of the Swedish Championships in Economic.

Temporary shut-off of water on the riverside Monday morning
On Monday 12 May at 07:00, the water will be turned off at Åkanten. The shutdown is due to service work of the fire cabinets and is expected to be completed within two hours.
