Extended restrictions due to Corona

The corona virus has not yet eased its grip on us, and the restrictions continue, both at Mid Sweden University and in Sweden in general. Therefore, Mid Sweden University has decided to extend its corona adaptation further, until 21 March 2021.

Students shall continue to stay at home if possible. All teaching and examinations must take place digitally, unless physical presence on campus is absolutely necessary.

Locked premises
Now most of our premises will remain locked. This means that you need your access card to enter all buildings except house N on Campus Sundsvall and House G on Campus Östersund.

Campus
The campus will still be open, but all students are recommended to work from home if possible. Both the library's and the Service Centre's opening hours may change at short notice. Stay up to date via their respective pages:

Internship, degree project, VFU, etc
If you have planned an external internship or similar, you need to agree with your internship/ host organization if the internship is possible to complete or not. Contact your teacher if you have questions about this.

Your course/ programme
For some questions regarding your course or programme, you need to contact your teacher or programme coordinator for answers. This applies, for example, to examinations, possible campus teaching and the like.

The Student unions
The Student unions in Sundsvall and Östersund monitor the students' interests and participate in the discussions when corona-related decisions are to be made. Feel free to contact them if you have comments or suggestions.

The most important thing to keep track of
