There are ongoing discussions between all universities about how education should be conducted this fall. The university monitors the development closely and understand that both students and teachers need more information as soon as possible in order to be able to plan. Unfortunately, given the changing situation, it is difficult to give all answers.

During week 18, Mid Sweden University will decide on a direction, which teachers can start plan in accordance with. After that, you as a student will receive more information from your teacher about in what form your education is planned to be conducted this fall.

Important right now

It is important that everyone follow the recommendations that are available to reduce the spread of the corona virus. We want to protect risk groups. Also we want to ensure that our courses can be carried out in the best possible way by avoiding that students and teachers get sick. For this reason, all students and staff shall continue to study and work from home if possible, to avoid the risk of spreading disease. The vast majority of teachers work from home, therefore you as a student cannot visit your teachers on campus.

Who can go to campus?

Our campuses are only available to those students who need the University's services to continue their studies. This may involve using a computer room or wifi, Library's services, Service Center, Student Health or other services that cannot be solved on the Web or by the phone. A few courses also carry out laboratory work, and similar tasks, in small groups in courses that require it.

Some students may need to use study rooms on campus to meet if, for various reasons, it is not possible to meet digitally. In this case it is very important that you remember to keep the distance as far as possible, wash your hands carefully and under no circumstances visit campus if you experience the slightest symptoms of cold or flu. Before you go to campus, ask yourself whether it is necessary. It is very important that we all endure and follow the recommendations so that we can cope with the current situation.
