Mid Sweden University’s operations are not affected by the restrictions and precautions introduced today, 9 December. It emerged from a meeting yesterday between the Public Health Agency and the country’s higher education institutions.

Yesterday, the Public Health Authority held a meeting with the country’s higher education institutions. It emerged that the restrictions and precautions now imposed do not affect our activities. On the contrary, the Public Health Agency wishes the country’s higher education institutions to maintain their core activities. This means that there are no restrictions for students to avoid public transport or to attend campuses. However, everyone is asked, if possible, to avoid congestion in public transport by choosing to travel outside peak times, or to use alternative means of travel. If you have difficulty avoiding congestion — use masks.

Remeber, you still have to wash your hands frequently, keep distance, stay at home if you or someone in your household is ill, and have you tested, whether you are vaccinated or not.
