Increased security requirements for logging into Ladok

From December 4, 2023, all students, with a Swedish social security number, at Mid Sweden University must have a higher security level on their student account in order to log in to Ladok. To get the right level, you need to identify yourself with BankID or visit IT support to identify yourself.

Note that this only applies to you who have a Swedish social security number. If you do not have a Swedish social security number, you will be able to log in without raising the security level of your account.

If you want to identify yourself with your ID at IT support, you can visit them in the Service Center. They are always there Monday-Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm. Valid ID documents are, for example, passports, Swedish ID cards or driving licenses (not digital).

What does this mean for you?

If you do not raise your trust level, you will not be able to log into Ladok after December 4, 2023, without first authenticating yourself. If you cannot log in to Ladok, you will not be able to access your results, register for courses or register for an exam, for example.
