Recruitment fairs

Mötesplats Campus is an excellent opportunity for you to get in touch with companies within your field and a chance to gain experience in interacting with companies and organizations in Sweden.

Companies and organizations participating in Mötesplats Campus either have some open positions (for example jobs, internships, mentorship, trainee programs and/or degree projects) or want to meet students for future collaboration. In addition, many employers offer short, individual meetings during the day (Swe. kontaktsamtal), where students can interact with the company or organization on a one-to-one basis.

Come prepared to the recruitment fair

• Mid Sweden University aims to organize a Pre-Day before the fair so that you can be as prepared as possible beforehand. Make sure that you attend this. More information will be posted about this at the beginning of September 2021.
• Mid Sweden University offers a workshop series called Step Up your Game, which focuses on CV writing and how to present yourself. More information can be found here.
• Think about, what are your aims with attending the fair?
• Research the employers that seem interesting to you.
• Book an individual meeting with those employers and think of a few questions what you would like to ask them.
• Update your CV before the fair and prepare a short presentation about yourself.
• Make sure to add your new contacts to your LinkedIn profile after the fair.
