Introduction Days
During the Introduction Days, you will get a lot of useful information from the university staff about your upcoming studies. You will also get the chance to get to know your future classmates a bit better.
Moving to a new country with an unfamiliar language, culture and customs can be a challenge. The introduction days for international students are designed to help you orientate yourself in a new academic environment, new city and new culture. We strongly recommend that all international students attend the introduction days.

Additionally, there is the Welcome Day for new students to Mid Sweden University!
As a new student, it can be a lot to keep track of. Therefore, we invite you to join our Welcome Day, where you will get to meet and interact with different units of Mid Sweden University, employers in the region and other representatives.
The Welcome Day Fair is open between 11.00 – 13.00 and will take place on:
- September 3: Östersund in Ljushallen, house G (map)
- September 5: Sundsvall at Grönborg, house A (map)
The welcome day is organized by the Central Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Central University and the student union in Östersund and Sundsvall together with a number of important partners. The activity is part of the Competence Compass project.
