Interactive and conversational course feedback surveys using generative AI

Instead of relying on traditional static surveys, students will share their feedback through natural dialogue with a chatbot, making the process more engaging, personalized, and efficient. The prototype will allow customization for specific courses, generate detailed reports for teachers, and has the long-term potential to be integrated into learning platforms like Canvas. By improving both the quality and quantity of feedback, the project seeks to enhance the learning environment and provide value beyond the immediate classroom. In the long run, results from this project could guide the development of an open-source model hosted inside the university’s systems, ensuring sustainability and accessibility.
