Welcome to the course Arkiv- och informationsvetenskap AV, Introduktion till arkiv- och informationsvetenskap and as a student at Mid Sweden University.
My name is Laís Barbudo Carrasco, and I am a Senior Lecturer in Archives and Information Science. I am also the course manager for this course, which forms part of our Master’s Programme in Archives and Information Science.

System requirements for various software
Many of the digital tools of the education do not work on ChromeBooks. For example, you cannot use Microsoft 365 programs with full functionality on a Chromebook, for this you need a computer with Windows or MacOSX. This also applies to graphic-intensive programs in design and technology, for example. This also applies if you are going to write a digital exam. To avoid problems, we recommend that you use a Windows or Mac computer instead.
If the course or program has specific equipment requirements, this will be stated in the welcome letter
