The program starts on Monday, 1 September. 

All teaching takes place through the learning platform, Canvas, and you will find all the information you need about the course there. Each module will open shortly before it is due to begin, so please make sure you check in there.

There will be no physical meetings on campus. You will, however, be required to attend certain seminars (e.g. your Opposition Seminar) online.

 

Schedule

Four weeks before the start of the course, when you have created you MiunID (student account), you will see your schedule.
Please note that the schedule is updated until the start of the course and there may be changes thereafter if something unforeseen occurs.

Then you will receive the schedule closer to the start of the course from your course coordinator.

Education information

Your first five-week module will be C-Linguistic Theory. 

The required text for this module is:

Edward Finegan Language: Its structure and use. 

The Study Guide specifies the 7th edition (2014), but any edition from the 4th edition or later will contain the information you need. Physical copies are available in the library, but some editions are available online.

Further readings will be provided. 

System requirements for various software

Many of the digital tools of the education do not work on ChromeBooks. For example, you cannot use Microsoft 365 programs with full functionality on a Chromebook, for this you need a computer with Windows or MacOSX. This also applies to graphic-intensive programs in design and technology, for example. This also applies if you are going to write a digital exam. To avoid problems, we recommend that you use a Windows or Mac computer instead.
