Education information

Teaching is conducted remotely, and the program begins with the course 'Additive Manufacturing in Metal'. Instruction includes, for example, lectures, demonstrations of laboratory work, analysis of practical problems, and self-studies. The syllabus, which includes the reading list, can be found here: Additive Manufacturing in Metal, 7.5 credits: https://www.miun.se/en/education/show-syllabus/MT035A/

System requirements for various software

Many of the digital tools of the education do not work on ChromeBooks. For example, you cannot use Microsoft 365 programs with full functionality on a Chromebook, for this you need a computer with Windows or MacOSX. This also applies to graphic-intensive programs in design and technology, for example. This also applies if you are going to write a digital exam. To avoid problems, we recommend that you use a Windows or Mac computer instead.

If the course or program has specific equipment requirements, this will be stated in the welcome letter

This is what you need to do as a new student

There are several things you need to do as a new student in order to start your studies. If you are a distance student with campus lectures, you need to familiarize yourself with both checklists.

Follow the checklist carefully! The checklists are in Swedish
