Book Sandra ‑ the process support for the strategy work
To "get started" with the input to the strategy work, you may need a vitamin injection.
Sandra Olofsson works at FUS, but many people probably also recognize her in the role of community manager at Samverket, a collaboration and innovation arena for the public sector located in central Östersund. Now Sandra is also taking the step as a resource in Mid Sweden University's strategy and vision work. This is what she says about her assignment:
"It feels tingly and peppy! It will be fun to be one of several cogs in this strategy work during the autumn. The excitement consists of meeting all the wonderful people and the excitement consists of the fact that we are facing a blank slate where no one has all the answers and that is always exciting," she says.
For Vice-Chancellor Anders Fällström, the choice of Sandra as process support is a given:
"She has an exceptional ability to understand and collaborate with all people and professional categories that fit within Mid Sweden University and she has a burning commitment to the public sector. I think Sandra is a hit in all parts of the university and her experience in project management and her ability to enthuse means that I think she is very well suited for this," he says.
The parts of the organisation that feel that they need support to find ways to create engagement can thus take support from Sandra - and everything is done in dialogue between her and the organisation to find an arrangement that suits the needs of a specific department. department or subject group may have.
"I think it's important to be humble about the fact that these kinds of questions can feel overwhelming for the individual employee. That's why it's important that everyone feels included, and then it's great that there are many opportunities to provide input," she says.
What can you contribute?
"My strengths lie in being able to help break old thought patterns, turn and twist perspectives and generate ideas and thoughts. To unleash the creativity of everyone who thinks they want support in the process," she says.
What challenges do you see?
"Humanity has a hard time thinking beyond what exists today, we have a hard time breaking away from it, which becomes a challenge when we have to think twenty years ahead. At the same time, we cannot ignore the present, so my task will be to bridge this and help find the link between the present and the future," she says.
Sandra has been given "free rein" to design her work and her contribution is planned in close dialogue with the client.
"The goal is that we find a tailor-made arrangement and run a crisp and hearty hour together. I can warn you that the set-up will most likely be playful, creative and unexpected," she says.
