Here you can see the recordings of our anniversary seminars as well as the seminars in the series on academic freedom.
In our anniversary seminars, a wide range of topics that affect the university are highlighted, including research communication, education policy, research policy, collaboration and AI. The seminar series will run throughout 2025.
In the seminar series on academic freedom, a number of different aspects were touched upon, and you can also take part in these seminars afterwards. The seminar series was broadcast in 2024 and 2025.

The first anniversary seminar was attended by Björn Fjaestad, former editor-in-chief of Research & Progress and adjunct professor of science communication, Mid Sweden University's press communicator Ronney Wickzell, and researcher Sofie Blombäck.

The seminar was attended by Pam Fredman, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gothenburg, Jacob Färnert, former President of the Swedish National Union of Students, and Professor Lena Boström and Associate Professor, University of Gothenburg.

The theme this time is the autonomy of universities, i.e. the form of governance and the importance of being government agencies.
Seminar 3: Responsible Internationalization, Academic Freedom and the War in Gaza
This seminar will discuss an urgent and deeply troubling issue: the role of universities in conflict zones and the threats faced by academics and educational institutions.
