Fifth Bomorrow Conference Concludes
Over a hundred participants gathered at Hotel Clarion in Sundsvall for this year's Bomorrow Conference on April 10-11.
Bomorrow 2024 had the theme "Urban Development in the Era of Major Establishments - Future Cities and Housing." Researchers, practitioners, and politicians shared the space, and lectures were interspersed with panel discussions on both urban development and housing issues. Furthermore, participants could choose to take a city walk in the beautiful weather or participate in a workshop. For those who wished, the conference could also be followed via a link, and this time international inspiration was drawn from a live broadcast from Calgary, a city that has been able to accommodate 40,000 new residents per year based on policies of sustainable growth. Both days included time for networking, and the first day concluded with a delightful conference dinner.
Bomorrow, returning in 2025, was organized this year by CER, HSB Södra Norrland, Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget (SBB), Sundsvall Municipality, and the Sundsvall Region. Mats Ågebrant did an excellent job as the moderator.
