CER researcher receives a prestigious award
Dr. Mustafa Nourallah, researcher at CER, is awarded the Scientific prize for 2024, hosted by Nordeas Norrlandsstiftelse. The prize, SEK 100,000, is customarily awarded at Mid Sweden University Academic Ceremony, which takes place on October 4 in Sundsvall this year.
After his defense in 2023, Mustafa Nourallah has in a short time built up an impressive network of international contacts and quickly achieved recognition, not least through assignments as a Key Note speaker at international conferences. In the justification for the award, it is highlighted, among other things, that he is the project leader for the research focus "Digital banking and finance" at CER. Likewise, it is highlighted that his studies on mobile banking applications and robot-based financial advice have great potential and that research can contribute to the development of banks' payment and advisory services.
Mustafa Nourallah is the fifth CER researcher to receive this prestigious award and he has been one of the key coworkers behind the "2024 CER FinTech Symposium", which recently took place in Sundsvall with researchers from three continents.
