Two contract education training courses completed
In August, CER completed two contract training courses on the theme of change management, which were mainly conducted during the spring.
One course (1.5 credits) was open to organizations/representatives from both the public and private sectors. The course focused on why organizational change management is needed, how change management can be implemented and how surrounding factors can mutually affect successful change initiatives. The second course (7.5 credits) was part of a two-year leadership program for managers in elderly care. That course focused on issues related to leading businesses in change in the public sector. In both courses, the participants analyzed organizational issues and challenges based on course literature and they also participated in a number of group dialogues.
On the shorter course, 13 participants from nine organizations in Jämtland and Västernorrland participated, while 24 participants from the three municipalities of Sundsvall, Ånge and Örnsköldsvik completed the longer course. In both cases, Edith Andresen was the course coordinator.
