Nationally funded CER PhD student on site
On 1 September, Mikaela Backlund started as a CER doctoral student with five-year funding from the Knowledge Foundation.
Mikaela is part of a major national initiative of 44 "collaborative doctoral students" from 22 universities. In her project, Mikaela will, among other things, study the CER network as a regional actor for organizational and individual learning. This means, among other things, that she will visit key actors that are part of the network and also the groups that make up the CER network. She will also participate in the activities arranged by the Knowledge Foundation.
"It is gratifying to be part of such an extensive national investment in doctoral students and a great opportunity for Mikaela to build her own networks that both herself, CER and the region can benefit from," comments CER's center director Peter Öhman. who is also Mikaela's supervisor together with Jimmy Jaldemark, also active at CER.
