Research Forum on Personal Finance and Financial Regulation
The first research forum of the year was about young people's personal finances and how rules in the financial sector are understood and communicated.
Together with representatives of four of the organizations in the CER network (LF Västernorrland, Nordea, SPV and Swedbank), the first session was devoted to collaboration opportunities in terms of what can be done to map and strengthen the financial (in)capacity of school children. That pass was led by Dennis Hedback. His CER colleague Anna-Karin Stockenstrand then presented a project idea on how employees in banks and insurance companies relate to different rules and how these are communicated internally and externally. At the meeting, the participants agreed to carry out a pilot study in the coming months in order to form a larger study in this area as a basis.
