SPV strengthens its role in the CER network
The Swedish National Government Employee Pensions Board (SPV) has extended its cooperation agreement with CER for the period 2027–2029.
“We have chosen to extend our collaboration with CER because we see great value in maintaining close ties between academia and working life,” says Caroline Ytterström, HR Manager at SPV. “Through CER, we can exchange knowledge and experience while also raising awareness among economics students of the work carried out by government agencies and the interesting career opportunities available in fields such as economics, statistics and other areas of advanced analysis.”
Based in Sundsvall, SPV plays a central role in the Swedish pension system and administers pensions for hundreds of thousands of people.
The continued collaboration with SPV is important to CER, particularly in the priority areas of banking, insurance and pensions, as well as organisational and lifelong learning. Both areas are highly relevant to SPV. The agency’s specialist expertise in pension and insurance matters also brings significant value to the CER network.
