Continuous requests for research collaborations and PhD positions

The number of external requests for research collaborations and the opportunities to do doctoral studies in the environment offered by CER continues to increase.

A green apple on top of a pile of books

In the last few weeks alone, there has been almost one request per day from foreign researchers who want to participate in the centre's research projects or from foreign students with different degrees who would like to do a PhD.

There are several reasons why those who get in touch see CER as an attractive environment. Perhaps most importantly, the centre now communicates most research in English, both on its website and in social media. Another reason is that several research projects are conducted in collaboration with foreign researchers and that several doctoral students have foreign origins, which in itself has a ripple effect. A third reason is the research results that are regularly published in articles, books and book chapters and at conferences, and that CER's doctoral students also have papers published during their doctoral studies. A further reason seems to be the large number of activities and events carried out within the framework of the CER network and the economics programme.
