CER meets the entrepreneurs of tomorrow at UF‑Startup
Hedbergska Gymnasiet's auditorium was filled with students from the upper secondary school's business program when Junior Achievement kicked off the academic year with UF-Startup. CER was on hand to talk about Mid Sweden University's business and economics programs.
UF-Startup is the start of the students' UF year, where they run their own companies from idea to liquidation during the school year. During the day, the students got to meet exhibitors from business, the public sector and academia.
CER's stand was attended by CER researcher and teacher Dennis Hedback together with Felicia Gustavsson and Malin Blomstervik from the economics student association Sundekon. The conversations with the students were about what an economics education contains, what career paths it opens up and what it is like to study at Mid Sweden University.
