Educational researchers from Ohio State University visited CER
CER was recently visited by researchers Dean Cristol and Belinda Gimbert and PhD student Qiwei Men from Ohio State University, one of the highest ranked American universities in the field of pedagogy.
The idea for the visit originated in October when Jimmy Jaldemark was the keynote speaker at an international conference in Heerlen , the Netherlands . He then got in touch with the researchers from Ohio State University, which led to Dean Cristol and Belinda Gimbert deciding to visit Mittuniversitetet to, among other things, learn more about how CER works with educational models for industry and organizational development.
Jimmy Jaldemark hosted the visit and the US researchers' program included a conversation with Jaldemark and CER's center leader Peter Öhman about the model that CER has developed within the framework of lifelong learning and the corresponding work that is conducted at Ohio State University. The hope is that the visit will lead to future collaborations.
