Call for abstracts
Are you conducting research on risk, crisis, preparedness, or societal resilience? You are warmly invited to submit an abstract to Åre Risk Event – On Tour!
What happens if we view the crisis as a beginning rather than an end? When the unexpected hits, opportunities also arise. Crises force us to improvise, think in new ways, act more wisely, and build stronger. Come think through these things with us!
Åre Risk Event brings together researchers, practitioners, and representatives from private, public, and volunteer organizations to exchange knowledge and experiences.
Conference Dates: April 21–23, 2026
Venue: Frösö Park Hotel, Östersund
Theme: Between hope and despair – crisis as catalyst
