Master by Research in Media and Communication Science

The programme targets students keen to develop skills and knowledge independently, as this programme largely consists of research work. Students will be part of a research team and participate in a research project run at the department, working both together with others and independently.

The programme includes second-cycle courses as well as project work, leading to an individual Master’s thesis in the final semester of the programme.

The research carried out in the Master by Research in Media and Communication Science programme is interdisciplinary and deals with strategic communication, organizational communication, crisis communication, political communication and journalism.
