Manisha Phadatare appointed Associate Professor at Mid Sweden University
In connection with her docent lecture at Mid Sweden University, Manisha Phadatare, researcher at FSCN Research Centre, presented research on Advanced materials for next-generation Lithium-ion batteries. She can now hold the title of Associate Professor in Engineering Physics.
The lecture, Advanced Materials for Next-Generation Batteries: From Silicon Anodes to Roll-to-Roll Coated Paper Electrodes, focused on the development of high-capacity and sustainable battery materials. The research includes silicon-based anode materials with higher capacity than today’s graphite materials, porous silicon, and resource-efficient paper-based electrodes for energy storage.
The research focuses on solutions that can be scaled up industrially and contribute to future electrification and sustainable energy systems.
The title of docent is a recognition of high scientific competence and independent research achievements. At FSCN Research Centre, Manisha Phadatare conducts research in advanced materials and sustainable energy technology.
