New Head of MILAB
Magnus Hummelgård is handing over responsibility for the Materials and Innovation Laboratory (MILAB) at Mid Sweden University. Nicklas Blomquist, Senior Lecturer and researcher in energy materials, will take over as the new head of the laboratory.
MILAB gives companies and researchers access to advanced equipment and expertise in areas including materials characterisation, chemical analysis and surface characterisation. Collaboration can range from individual analysis assignments to longer-term partnerships, where MILAB’s equipment and expertise are used to support companies in their development work.
“I look forward to continuing to develop MILAB as an accessible environment for both companies and researchers. It should be easy to get in touch with us and to find the right approach together based on the specific challenge to be addressed,” says Nicklas Blomquist, the new head of MILAB.
Magnus Hummelgård has been responsible for MILAB for several years and is now handing over to Nicklas Blomquist. With the change in leadership, MILAB will continue to develop as an environment for materials analysis, research and collaboration.
