Webinar: Data and AI centers – what does the development mean for the electricity system?
The expansion of data and AI centers is rapid and increases the need for electricity, while industry, transport and real estate are being electrified. But how much electricity is available, where and when? And what can companies do when there is not enough capacity?
Welcome to a webinar within the research project Elektrovation, where Lena Berglund, Regional Manager North at E.ON, talks about the state of the electricity grid and how companies can handle challenges linked to electricity capacity. Among other things, she discusses E.ON's work with Growth Zones, of which Torsboda is an example, and what companies themselves can do when access to electricity limits development.
Kent Bertilsson, Professor of Power Electronics at Mid Sweden University, begins with a research and development perspective. Lena's presentation is followed by questions and conversations.
