Erik Fröjdh defended his doctoral thesis
On Tuesday September 8, it was time for PhD-student Erik Fröjdh to defend his doctoral thesis “Hybrid Pixel Detectors” to the grading committee.
Erik studied his first two years together with the research group Radiation Sensor System at STC and have been spending the last two year at Cern, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers. On Tuesday September 8, 2015 it was time for him to present his doctoral thesis “Hybrid Pixel Detectors, Characterization and Optimization” to the opponent Professor Paul Sellin from the University of Surrey, UK. After deliberation the grading committee decided to pass Erik Fröjdh who now days can call himself a PhD.
Grading committee was: Prof. Jan Pallon, Lund University, Professor Jan Linnros Uppsala University, doc. Peter Glans Mid Sweden University.
