Industrial PhD‑student Faeze develops AI for Media Research
STC has started a new collaboration with the company Media Research, which hired industrial PhD-student Faeze Zakaryapour Sayyad. She will develop AI that can take the company to the next step into the future. Here, Faeze talks about what it's like to work as an industrial doctoral student.
This collaboration is part of the project DIGIT, which is financed with support from the EU's regional development fund, in which about 20 organizations in Jämtland and Västernorrland counties participate. The purpose of the project is to support business development within IoT and AI with a focus on data-driven development. Faeze and Media Research are also part of the business research school Smart Industry Sweden, where five higher education institutions join forces together with Swedish industry to train the future's key personnel in smart industry. The research school is financed with support from the KK foundation.
