Create business value with AI ‑ Companies gathered in Härnösand to learn more

- AI is a very exciting area and can be used in many different ways. I'm interested to know how we can use AI in our tools. For example, to ask questions to our systems, get AI-based decision support and for coding apps. We have been part of Bron Innovation and their Good Tech network for a few years now. It's fun that events are arranged in Härnösand and to see how other companies work with AI, says Marcus Johansson.

During the day, presentations on how data-driven development can increase the efficiency of an organization and create completely new business opportunities. The lunch seminar was opened by Daniel Adelander, management consultant at Pro&Pro, who talked about how to get started with AI and go from idea to business benefit. Mattias O'Nils from Mid Sweden University then took over and presented how the university has collaborated with different companies and developed AI solutions that have created completely new business opportunities and streamlined their operations. A concrete example of such collaboration was provided by Michael Jacobsson from the Härnösands-based company Starbit. A far-reaching collaboration that began with a conversation between Starbit, Bron Innovation and Mid Sweden University, and which has now resulted in a commercial product. 

Härnösand municipality, was involved in arranging the lunch seminar and thinks it is important that the participants get to meet, be inspired and see that there is support available.

- We at Härnösand municipality want to inspire and support our companies to dare to test and to get started with data-driven development. It requires patience and is a long-term learning that creates value for the company. And most importantly - that we are stronger together! There is support and a learning to get from other companies, from Bron Innovation and Mid Sweden University. We want to send that to the participants from today's event, says Jonas Wessling, business developer at Härnösand municipality.
