Great interest when AI was discussed in Åre
Around forty participants defied the snowy rain and went to House Be in Åre on Wednesday February 5 to take part in the breakfast lecture "Create business value with AI".
It was Samling Näringsliv, Mid Sweden University and Bron Innovation who, together with House Be and Åre municipality, invited small and medium-sized companies to take part in inspiring examples of how AI can develop business.
Mattias O'Nils, head of the STC Research Centre at Mid Sweden University.
Pär Segerström, CEO of Media Research, talked about the collaboration with Mid Sweden University.
At the first program item, Mattias O'Nils from Mid Sweden University's research center STC, presented how researchers and companies collaborate to develop new AI solutions. One of these examples was shown by Pär Segerström, CEO of Media Research. He came to Mid Sweden University with a need to develop his company with the help of AI and needed advice. This resulted in him and Mid Sweden University hiring an industrial PhD-student, Faeze Zakaryapour Sayyad, who has now been working for two years and whose AI models have already been implemented in Media Research tools. Something that creates an opportunity for the company to reach completely new markets.
Anderas Adler, from CoreChange Group, talked about his experiences with AI in E-commerce.
Andreas Adler, who comes from the company CoreChange Group, has extensive experience in E-commerce and digital business development. He shared some cases where AI has made a big difference when it comes to expanding quickly and with high quality. As an example, he demonstrated how AI can help e-commerce companies launch large amounts of products in several different markets and also how AI can effectively help summarize feedback from customers in several different languages.
Anderas Eriksson from CoreChange Group presented an AI tool that facilitates changes of ownership.
Also from CoreChange Group was Andreas Eriksson, who works with innovation. He presented a brand new AI tool that is used to help business owners make business plans and SWOT analyses, among other things. The tool has been developed in the CooCon project, which is tasked with helping entrepreneurs during generational changes via the ägarskiften.se service. So that prosperous companies in northern Sweden can continue to develop in the region.
Mona Karlsson from AWA Sweden AB, one of today's participants, was looking forward to inspiration about AI.
The interest in the breakfast lecture was great and attracted a full house in Åre, in addition to the almost 100 participants who followed the event online. One of the participants on site in Åre was Mona Karlsson from AWA Sweden AB.
- AI is really a large and exciting area with many opportunities. I came here to be inspired and to see examples of how it is applied. Just like in one of the cases presented today, we at AWA have hired an industrial doctoral student, together with Linnaeus University, who is developing generative AI to handle intellectual property issues that we are working on, says Mona.
