Networking between students, business and academia in focus at Unga Bünsow
When students, researchers and employers meet, new opportunities are created for knowledge exchange, skills supply and innovation. STC participated in Unga Bünsow to strengthen the dialogue between academia and business and inspire the talents of the future.
STC recently participated in Unga Bünsow, a forum that brings together students, academia and the business community to create contacts, exchange experiences and discuss future opportunities in the region.
During the day, the participants had the opportunity to meet across organizational boundaries and have conversations about skills supply, innovation and career paths. STC was represented by, among others, Professor Mattias O'Nils, who participated in a panel discussion together with Tommy Ytterström, CEO Pro&Pro, Moa Fröstadius, Master of Science in Engineering, and Sebastian Berglund, Master of Science in Business and Economics student.
For STC, these types of meeting places are important. By bringing together students, researchers and companies, conditions are created for new collaborations, degree projects, internship opportunities and future recruitments. At the same time, students gain insight into current research issues and the skills that are in demand in the labour market.
Unga Bünsow aims to inspire young people to stay in or return to the region after their studies. By highlighting the opportunities that exist in both business and research, the initiative contributes to strengthening the region's long-term skills supply and innovation power.
For STC, participation means an opportunity to show how research and collaboration can contribute to sustainable development, technological renewal and a stronger regional business community. When academia, students and companies meet, valuable contacts are created that can lead to both new ideas and future collaborations.
