Oscar Berg is a PhD student in electronics and in his dissertation work he focuses on how deep learning can be adapted and implemented on resource-constrained systems, especially in the Internet of Things (IoT). By enabling advanced AI directly on small, connected devices, the technology can contribute to more efficient and intelligent systems in the future.

During the seminar, Oscar presented his research results and discussed the choice of method, challenges and future directions for the project. The half-time seminar serves as an important reconciliation where both internal and external reviewers contribute with views to support the continued work.

Oscar Berg is affiliated with the IRS TransTech graduate school, an international graduate school with a focus on digitalization and advanced technology, where collaboration between academia and industry is at the center.
