In an interview with Sundsvalls Tidning, she talks about her journey from growing up in Albania, via master's studies in England and Norway, to Sundsvall and a doctoral position at Mid Sweden University in 2016. What she didn't know at the time was that this was just the beginning of her university career and that ten years later she would call Sundsvall her home.
