STC showcased smart solutions at the IoT fair

For the fifth year in a row, Servanet arranged its IoT fair, which this year had grown with more exhibitors, services and a broader program. Together with Mid Sweden University and Bron Innovation, Servanet gathered companies, researchers, municipalities and other actors with an interest in the connected society of the future.

STC was present as one of the fair's exhibitors and showed examples of research and technical solutions in areas such as IoT, AI and sensor technology. The fair was also an opportunity to meet companies and organizations and discuss how new technology can be used to meet concrete needs in society.

- The fair is a good meeting place to both show what we are working on in research and to capture the needs and challenges of companies and organisations. These types of meetings are important for finding new opportunities for collaboration, says Rikard Hamrin, research engineer at STC.

During the day, products, services and innovations were presented in areas such as fibre, networks, sensors, automation and smart social development. Around twenty exhibitors from industry, research and the public sector were presented.

For STC, the IoT fair was thus an opportunity to both take part in the latest developments in the field and meet actors who can contribute to future research and innovation collaborations.
