Distance education students
As a distance education student you can get books sent to your home address.
If you want your loans sent home by mail, please fill out the form below. Once you have received a confirmation that your application has been approved, you can start reserving books.
You reserve the material you want to borrow in the library search tool Miun Discovery, then we send it home to you by mail.
The library will pay the postage for sending the books to you, but you must pay the return postage yourself. We only send study related material. We do not send material outside of Sweden, nor within our two campus cities or the areas in their vicinity.
You get seven extra days of loan time. This is a compensation for the time it takes to send the book via mail. These days are included in your loan period, so the return date for the book is the date we expect the book to be back at the library. You must therefore send it to us a few days before the return date. Here you can find our addresses.
It is when you first borrow the book that you get the extra seven days, after that the loan is automatically renewed by ten days at the time unless another patron has requested the book. This happens four days before the due date. If another patron has requested the book you will get an e-mail telling you to return the book. You can always check your loans and due dates in My account.
If you need access to books during your internship or if you are writing your thesis in another town, we can temporarily send books to you. If so, contact the library.
