The library switches to a new search tool
In mid-December, the library plan to switch from Primo to the new search tool Miun Discovery. This means a completely new look and many new, exciting features. The new search service is an EBSCO tool so anyone who is used to searching the EBSCO databases will feel at home.
In Miun Discovery you will be able to search for all the library material as usual, but now you will also be able to see if a book is available inside the search results list. The search service also offers great opportunities for those who want to do advanced searches and also save these, integrate them with other EBSCO databases and, for example, create mail-alerts, if you want to monitor a particular subject.
We want Miun Discovery to work as well as possible for you as a user. That is why we are now looking for people who would like to be part of a test panel. Everyone can be on the panel, it doesn't matter whether you are a student, employee or have no connection to Mid Sweden University at all. If you choose to be part of the panel, you will be contacted with requests to participate in various types of usability tests linked to Miun Discovery and our website but you do not commit to participating in anything.
