Mid Sweden University's Research Data Support (DAU) is launching a new web resource that provides researchers with comprehensive and user-friendly support throughout the research data process.

Biblioteket Campus Östersund

The new Research Data Management pages guide researchers through the full data lifecycle – from planning and collection to publishing, sharing, longterm preservation, and archiving. The aim is to make it easier to quickly find relevant and up‑to‑date information on how to carry out practical tasks, regardless of where the project is in the process.

The web resource also brings together information about the laws and regulations governing research data at Swedish public authorities, such as the principle of public access to official documents, archiving requirements and data protection legislation. It provides an overview of responsibilities, confidentiality assessments and how data should be preserved or deleted in accordance with current regulations.

The resource is designed to support qualitative, transparent and sustainable research in line with the FAIR principles and the development towards an open science system.

For questions or advice on specific matters, please contact the Research Data Support via the Service Portal or e-mail: researchdata@miun.se
