Extended Library Opening Hours from the Autumn Semester 2026
As of the autumn semester, the library will offer extended opening hours. With a Miun key tag, you will be able to use the library premises between 08.00 and 20.00, Monday to Saturday. The staffed hours at the information desks will also change.
During the autumn semester, the library will introduce new opening hours to provide students and visitors with greater access to our facilities.
The library will be open from 08.00 to 20.00, Monday to Saturday, for users with a Miun key tag. During these hours, you can use the library's study spaces, borrow and return materials, and access our self-service facilities.
The staffed hours at the library information desks will also change. Library staff will be available from 10.00 to 16.00 Monday-Friday. During these staffed hours, the Miun key tag is not required to enter the library premises.
The new opening hours will come into effect on August 24th in Östersund and September 14th in Sundsvall.
Do you not have a Miun key tag? Students at Mid Sweden University, as well as students from other universities and higher education institutions, can collect a Miun key tag from the Service Centre. Students from other institutions will need to present a current certificate of enrolment from Ladok.
