Pay a fee to the library

If you owe the library more than a certain amount, you will be suspended from borrowing library material. If you are a distance education student we can no longer send you the material you have reserved.

If you cannot come to the library you can pay by bankgiro, but do not forget to notify the library that you do so. Follow the instructions below.

1. Check the amount you need to pay by logging into My account.

2. Send the payment to Mid Sweden University

On the inpayment form you write:

  • "library debt" or "article"
  • your name
  • Student Portal username or National registration number

3. Notify your library that you are paying by submitting the following form:

Books and media: 10 SEK per book and day.
ILL libraries do not incur late fees. 


Fee for damaged or lost material

The patron should, if possible, replace books or media belonging to Mid Sweden University, as well as interlibrary loans from other libraries, with a new copy. Otherwise, the fee is 600 SEK per book (including administrative fees), or the material's actual price if higher than 600 SEK. Any late fees also apply.
Locker keys and other lost equipment are charged with the actual cost.
