If you need assistance in basic mathematics and statistics, you can turn to the mathematics tutor. We can meet online or on campus Östersund.
Fundamental knowledge and skills in mathematics is beneficial whether you are studying to become an engineer, teacher, or economist. The tutor will help refreshing your high school level mathematic skills and improve your understanding of basic statistics. If you are unsure if this is right for you, we encourage you to give it a try!
Some examples of what you can get help with:
- Improving your background knowledge, i.e., high school-level mathematics.
- Solving various types of calculations, both purely mathematical and, for example, economic or medical calculations.
- Understanding and solving tasks in basic statistics and SPSS.
- Developing appropriate study plans and strategies for mathematical studies.
What you cannot get help with:
- Exam-related tasks.
- University-level mathematics (but the boundary between high school and university level is fluid).

Click the button below and find a time that suits you in the calendar. The hours in the booking calendar are visible two weeks ahead. A maximum of one scheduled tutoring session per week is allowed.
In order for the tutoring session to be effective, it is important that you state which course you are taking in the booking form. Also describe what you want help with. Try to be as specific as possible.
