Lecture: Medieval bookbinding at the campus library in Östersund

In connection with the ongoing exhibition of newly created medieval bookbindings, Per Mattsson, a member of Centennial Bookbinders, talks about girdle books, soft parchment books and St. Cuthbert's book. We also get to listen to his own story about the meeting with the historical bookbindings and the road to the enchanting creative world they offer.

The lecture starts at 13.00 and lasts about 20 minutes. After that, there is an opportunity to ask questions to Per Mattson and Kerstin Mårtensson, who are both participating in the medieval bookbinding exhibition.
