New collaboration project will strengthen companies' innovation capacity
Does your company want to develop sustainable and innovative solutions? The Sports Tech Research Centre is now offering small and medium-sized companies research-based collaboration through the project H3 – Multidimensional Sustainability.
Small and medium-sized companies in Jämtland, Härjedalen and Västernorrland now have a unique opportunity to develop sustainable and innovative solutions, as well as to test ideas and strengthen competitiveness, through research-based collaboration. Within the project H3 – Multidimensional Sustainability, the Sports Tech Research Centre at Mid Sweden University is opening an Open Innovation Gateway where companies can gain access to expertise, lab environments and networks.
The project, which is funded by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, aims to strengthen companies' innovation capacity and competitiveness through sustainable product and service development. By participating, companies get the opportunity to test products and prototypes to be able to verify and validate ideas and functions. This work is done in close collaboration with the research environment.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for companies to strengthen their development through collaborations in the environment that we can offer at the Sports Tech Research Centre. By allowing them to use both our labs and our expertise, we can contribute to new insights and solutions," says Mikael Bäckström, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and project leader for H3 – Multidimensional Sustainability.
