Accessibility
The right for everyone to be able to participate in society, regardless of their ability to function, is a fundamental human right.
The Act on Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities came into force in 2010 and has since been revised to be included in the Discrimination Act from 2015 with a tightening of the rules for accessibility. Everyone should be able to participate in society, regardless of functional ability – this is a fundamental human right.
But with accessibility also comes the ability to get to safety in the event of a fire or other unwanted event. There is currently no law that regulates absenteeism, but it is important that we have this mindset in our work to create a safe work environment for everyone.
