About the programme

The programme explores the interplay between professional development and research, covering themes such as leadership and development within educational settings, adult learning, early childhood learning conditions, didactics, quality assurance and evaluation, as well as research methodology. A significant component is the independent degree project. The programme is offered part‑time over two years (four semesters).

Entry requirements

A completed degree of at least 180 credits, including an independent project (degree project) of 15 credits in the main field of Education or an equivalent field, or a completed teacher degree of at least 180 credits, including an independent project (degree project) of 15 credits. In addition, proficiency in Swedish and English, equivalent to the general entry requirements for Swedish higher education at the undergraduate level, is required.
