Aim
The student will develop his/her ability to critically evaluate and communicate
scientific results.
Course objectives
After the course the student will be able to
- Apply proven methods to write scientific papers
- Review the scientific literature
- Communicate scientific results, both orally and in writing
Content
The course provides insights into the search, review, and evaluation of scientific literature, writing and editing scientific manuscripts and presenting scientific
material orally.
Entry requirements
Admitted to Master by Research in Biology.

The selection process is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.

Lectures, seminars and self-studies.
Examination form
A101: Presentation, 7.5 Credits
Grade scale: Seven-grade scale, A, B, C, D, E, Fx and F. Fx and F represent fail levels.
The examination is done on the basis of manuscripts for scientific paper, oral
presentation of the contents of a scientific study and critical review of the scientific
article.
An overall grade for the above examination points are given.
Grading: A, B, C, D, E, Fx and F. A - E is pass, Fx and F are fail.
